THE DISASTER CYCLE - Full Documentary

On September 1, 1859, English astronomer Richard Carrington
(an amateur but meticulous observer) was in his private observatory sketching a large group of sunspots. He projected the Sun's image onto a screen through his telescope to safely draw it. Suddenly, he witnessed two brilliant white-light flashes erupt over one of the sunspots, lasting just a few minutes. He even dashed out to fetch someone else to confirm it, but by the time he returned, the flare had faded. This was the first recorded observation of a solar flare ever.

The documentary was well done with such beautiful cinematography!  Got the message loud and clear with what couldn't be elaborated on in more depth currently but the point was made with the narrative from the past.  Now everybody, share this far and wide!

Now THIS was the standing heavy scientific side to the documentary! Better than every Earth and space science class I have ever taken in college in forever. While I am no stranger to Ben's work seeing it all put here in linear form and in a calm simplified manner made it very simple to follow. I could watch this repeatedly.

Thank you Ben for the sacrifices you have made and the love you have for those of us who care about what is about to happen to us all. I can only hope you truly know how much we appreciate you. This was stellar.
